Oprah Winfrey To Get Top Us Honour

President Obama will give two media legends—Oprah Winfrey and former Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee—America’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the White House announced Thursday.

Bradlee led the Post to its highest heights during the Watergate years. Oprah is, of course, Oprah.

“Good God, how fabulous,” Bradlee told the Post. “What more can a man get? I feel terribly honored. What does a person do to deserve this kind of prize?
